This is a real world map and was produced with dem and satellite data. The radar view is correct for this new map I shall get around to rendering the new version and will replace the main image. However, most of it sits in the high peaks of the surrounding mountains. Due to a request I have increased this map 2 tiles to the north. So the optimum solution would be to replace all your sewers by treatment plants, so the least pollution gets in the lake in the first. they are sewers that pump dirty water out of your sewage system into the lake but clean it up on the way so it is less dirty when it reaches the lake. Due to volcanic activity some millions of years ago, the area is abundantly blessed with Ore deposits that have been brought to the surface from deep within the planet. Water treatment plants are not sopposed to clean dirty lakes. The region has small pockets of oil, lots of fertile grounds, and rich forests. Together with its resource-rich plains, this region is ready to house a thriving city. Highways and rail meander through the landscape, connecting up towns and cities throughout the greater area. The great rivers running through the region serve as shortcut routes for many shipping lanes, both cargo and cruise ships alike. The region is bathed in lush green plains in the warm months, and beautiful white snow-capped mountains in the colder ones. Lake Otha is a region named after the lake that forms from the fresh waters cascading out of the mountains, and the melting of snow that builds up in the winter.
